Dr David Sinclair in February 2020 said oleic acid could be 10-100x more potent than resveratrol for anti aging. This is massive news as it may mean we don’t need to take resveratrol supplements anymore.

To figure the debate about resveratrol and oleic acid, we need to understand how they both work. In our cells, there are amazing molecules called sirtuins. Sirtuins can reverse DNA damage, lengthen our telomeres, and reduce our levels of inflammation.
Resveratrol has been shown in human trials to active sirtuins. So resveratrol switches on the sirtuins, and slams the brakes on aging. But there is a new study that suggests oleic acid may be 10 times as potent as activating our sirtuins. This video explores the latest research around sirtuin activation, and if oleic acid or resveratrol is better p.s.
