00:59 Number 1: Eat protein and fat with each meal, and eat until full. We have mechanisms in place that let us know when we are full and to stop eating, let’s develop a relationship with these mechanisms. A healthy ketogenic diet fits this perfectly.

01:28 We are made of 70 trillion cells, and each cell has a membrane around it that is made up of protein, fat, and cholesterol. Our cells LOVE fat!

02:02 Number 2: Get 15-20 minutes of sunlight anytime between 1-3pm in the afternoon. We get a natural drop in core body temperature around this time of they. This is the main reason why people feel sluggish. When the body temp dips, melatonin gets a slight increase; this can cause you to feel tired. When you go outside and get some sunlight, it puts a halt this to this process, and energizes you for the rest of the day.

When you follow this routine, you activate the glut4 transporter which packs some of the glucose into your muscle cells and liver, and less of it into fat storage.

04:12 Number 5: Take a hot/cold shower every day to create a hormedic stressor. 30 seconds hot, 30 seconds cold, complete 5-10 rounds of this.

Every hour of sleep within this window is equivalent to 2 hours of sleep outside of this window when it comes to stage 4 delta deep sleep. This is where your fat burning hormones become activated, and your brain flushes out toxins.

06:39 Number 7: Take l-glutamine powder to crush sugar and carbohydrate cravings. Take it before your meals, or when you experience cravings. L-glutamine helps to calm the part of your brain that lights up when you experience cravings.
